The trip home was uneventful and boring, and the experience on this end was entirely predictable: dense fog on the mountain–especially in Blowing Rock, cold temperatures–29 F, and snow flurries all day today on our first day back. Some April Fool’s Day, isn’t it? But there’s no fooling about this weather–it’s typical Boone “when-will-Spring-ever-get-here?” weather.
But that’s OK because I have a plan. I plan to photograph Spring as it comes to Boone and the High Country, and apparently I haven’t missed a day of the progression! When it begins I’ll be ready and the images will be posted here, so check back often.
