The Lenten rose blooms during Lent, hence its name. We have two colors of Lenten rose in our patio garden, the white flowered and the pink flowered. Both are in full bloom now, early April in Boone.
The pink variety is striking and is my favorite of the two.
Thanks to Tommy Light we have these early bloomers in our backyard. Pretty!
